Project Sapphire (Public Beta)

v0.2.2 Beta Is Released! This update comes with a bunch of new things! Please Note: The 64 bit version takes up a lot of memory on boot and is very slow to start. The 32 bit works on 64 bit systems, and is faster to boot, but the 64 bit version has smoother gameplay.

Introducing: Gary:

Gary is a small snail that meets the player as the first enemy they will encounter. 

Introducing: Barry:

Barry is a bee. you may have heard of Barry before, from a movie... maybe. He is a flying enemy that is introduced in level 3. Any contact with Barry will make you lose a life. When Barry is directly over your head, he will start flying more irradicably and descending until he makes contact with you. You will have to dodge Barry to move on to the next level... there isn't one yet.

Boxes now give items only available in the store. They become active as soon as they are obtained.

Jetpack:

Available through item boxes. Allows the Player to jump higher.

A new .EXE installer for Windows 32 and 64 bit:

Don't worry, the EXE installer doesn't require admin.

Smoother Camera:

This did affect the animations, so I disabled the until the next bug fix update.

New Item in shop: Extra Life

You can now purchase an extra life in the shop. for 20 coins.,

Jump Height Reduced:

The player jump height was reduced to more accurately represent actual jumping

Animations disabled until next Beta because of game breaking bug. Will work on a fix for next update.

Bug Fixes:

Fixed a bug where pause menu freezes game after clicking "Main Menu" then "Play."

Fixed Multiple Shop Bugs that were able to give player free items.

Fixed multiple inventory bugs related to activation of items.
